One Year Old!

So on May 26th my amazing son turned one! It seriously feels like just yesterday we were at the hospital. Time sure flies!

Jered's birthday party was the day before his actual birthday. I was so excited and hoped nothing went wrong...but of course something did. When Mike went to pick up the cake he called me and said that they spelled Jered wrong. I understand that his name isn't spelled a normal way but I wrote down his name. Like really?! It related ticked me off. Then once we got to the park we noticed that there was a hair on the cake..a hair! Ugh. Anyways. We called and complained and will get a refund.

Everything else went pretty smoothly. We had a volleyball net set up, there was a playground right next to us and tennis courts and basketball courts. I didn't take as many pictures as I wanted. I didn't think I would be so busy. We served subs with potato salads, and chips. Then we also had a cotton candy machine and snow cone machine thanks to my grandma. We got a plain white cake with baseball decorations for everyone. For Jered I made him a baseball cake. He wouldn't touch the cake at first. Until we gave him a fork. He didn't have much but it's okay:) Next came the presents. I didn't get pictures of everything he got. The drum set he plays and it's so cute! Mike and I got him crayons, a coloring book, a dry erase board, dry erase crayons, and a baseball mit with a baseball and a football.

It was a very stressful week leading up to the party but it was all worth it:)

E.l.f. Haul

So last week I ordered some stuff from e.l.f. This is everything I got. A couple of things are for my sister and then the rest are for me. I was excited once the package got here. I've been wanting to try these products for awhile now. So here we go. These were the first things in the box. The colors are (from left to right) Teal Blue, Desert Haze, and Mint Cream. I am so excited about these colors. I want to use them already! But I just painted my nails yesterday. Now onto the other things. This is what everything else came in. I got one of these for me, and one for my sister. Well see how these are. Then this. I've seen this at target and decided to buy it. I dont know how well it's going to work. It was only $1 so it doesn't hurt to try. I will be very happy if this zit zapper works though because I've been getting random zits lately. This I'm also excited to try. My cuticles get very dry. I am really really hoping this works. This is another thing for my sister. She doesn't really need mascara but I figured this one seemed fine since it has regular and waterproof. I didn't know that they made this eyelash curler in white. I've only seen it in black. I honestly like it in white. I want to buy another one now since this one is for my sister. I always need concealer. Well, not always, but I like trying different ones. I've seen mixed reviews about this so I thought i'd just try it out for myself. After buying elf's powder brush I really wanted to try their stippling brush. Target only had the small one so I had to get this one online.. Now this. I have heard/read SO many great reviews about this powder. I am so happy I decided to get it and I can't wait to use it! This was kind of a last minute purchase. It seemed nice so I thought I'd buy it and give it a go I love the packaging also. Its cute ha. This is the last thing I got. I've never used a getting spray. So we'll see how I like this one!

This weekend is Jered's first birthday party. We're just doing a real simple baseball themed party. Sort of. Mainly just red and white with a little blue. I am so excited. Jered also started walking a few days ago:) He's getting so big!

Nails!

So, you might not know, but I love nail polish. Like really. Mike gets mad at how much I have. Even though I don't have much (around 40 bottles maybe.) Anyway. I wanted to show you my nails:)

This picture is with somewhat cloudy natural light. This one is with light right before sunset. This picture is more of what the color looks like. The color I used is Sinful Colors Candy Coated. Which I got here. I am absolutely in love with this color, its the perfect spring/summer shade. I'm afraid to use it because I don't want to run out and I haven't seen it anywhere in awhile. If I find it again I will most likely buy it.

This polish isn't too bad, as far as formula goes. I used about three coats. Some of the Sinful Colors polished have a thick formula which gets goopy. Don't get me wrong though, thy have great colors. They aren't that expensive either so it's almost a win win. I have about ten or so of their polishes.

The glitter on my ring finger is an L.A. Colors polish. I don't know the exact name of it at the moment. I used maybe four coats? It was only a dollar so I'm not complaining. That's it for now. :) Have a good day/night!

Another Mini Haul.

As you can see I only bought a few things. I only went to Walmart for the body wash, but I never leave Walmart with just the things I go there to buy. That pink thing is a tank top. That isn't its exact color. Its hard to photograph it. Its a bright bright neon pink. I don't have many pink clothes so I thought I would get it. And it wasn't even $4! Then I got these nail files since mine always seem to disappear. These were about $2 so I wasn't not going to get them. I needed this pretty bad. You should have seen how chipped my nails were and I had no remover! I almost died.. This I think was only about $1.50? I don't remember. It seems like I'm always buying nail buffers. I have like four or five of them but someone always ended up chewing on them, whether it be my cat or dog or even my son, and they just don't work the same after! So I needed this and it was like $0.97. Now, the reason I went to Walmart in the first place. I absolutely love St. Ives body washes. Well St. Ives anything really! I've never seen this body wash before so I got it. I have really been loving coconut lately. Just the smell kind of makes me melt:) I was going to get some nail polish but Mike caught me. He doesn't like me buying any nail polish because "I have too many" which I don't..He also said I already had the color I put in the basket. Turns out I do haha. Well that's all for this post. Park Fun

So yesterday we took Jered to the park for the first time. He wasn't too fond of the slide. He loved the swing though!

 We walked to the park. It wasn't that far but oh my it sure tired me out. I tried to take quite a bit of pictures. Mike does not like taking pictures. Its hard for me to get one of him while he's looking. So I took one while he wasn't looking:)
Once we got to the park we put Jered down the slide.
Like I said, he wasn't too fond of it... Then on to the swing!
Then we just sat down for awhile. All I was doing was taking pictures lol. I take so many pictures it's crazy!
Jered was trying to put daddy's hat on. Although he wouldn't keep his own hat on...oh well though haha. Now just couple more random pictures I took..
